"This was my first meeting so I can't really comment on the group's long-term utility."

Tim (May 8, 2008)

"Great way to meet a wide range of software developers. I enjoy the networking component a lot."

Loretta (May 8, 2008)

"Networking + presentation on current topic."

Bruce Dayton (May 7, 2008)

"A good group to network with other developers with goals to find jobs, opportunities, & contract work in the industry."

Evan (May 7, 2008)

"The networking is what's best about the group."

James DeLaHunt (Apr 16, 2008)

"Thanks to Guy for his efforts in promoting and coordinating the group. An insertion in T-Net does help make more people aware of VANDEV. Keep up the good work. Thanks to Guy for hosting the meeting and to Kim for getting the books."

Keith (Mar 29, 2008)

"This is a great meeting as developers can join together for some talk. I will attend again."

PhilipWong (Mar 27, 2008)

"Look forward to future meetings of this group."

Steve (Feb 10, 2008)

"Hope to see you guys more frequently and Guy, too. ;)"

Henry Min Bang (Feb 8, 2008)

"some of the people who attended should take something like Toast Master classes and may be learn how to stay on topic when they have something to say instead of blubbering everything that comes to their mind. "

Lilia (Jan 4, 2008)

"Lots of geeks. I am glad I came, but wish the presentation was better organized (not Guy's fault, of course)"

Sohail Somani (Jan 3, 2008)

"Looking forward to more great nights! Thanks for organizing it. "

Dan Hodgins (Jan 3, 2008)

"Good for meeting people who are interested in learning more about programming."

Max (Jan 3, 2008)

"A presentation on programming language metaphors (and perhaps the patterns they support - though some of the functional people dislike patterns) would be nice. There is an apparent conflict between the UML-style tight type checking and the agile-style ducktype approaches which would have been interesting to air."

David Aiken (Jan 3, 2008)

"VanDev is a good forum and it seems to cover a wide variety of topics under the sun. This was my first visit, and I was pleasantly surprised to see how the organizer facilitated directed networking by letting everyone introduce him/herself, talk about their interests, and even having simple, yet important, things like name tags."

Immad (Dec 8, 2007)

"The meeting format works great."

Dan Wright (Nov 9, 2007)

"A good place to meet software people and especially good for those who search employment. "

Rehan (Nov 8, 2007)

"Greate meetup. will give you new thoughts to think about and have chance to meet dynamic persons and expand your network."

Jan Karlsbjerg (Aug 9, 2007)

"First time out.. will check again if a topic of interest comes up."

Raj Taneja (May 8, 2007)

"There was a well diversified mix of skills and interests, which is good for planning future activities for the whole group. "

Vadim Dumin (Apr 2, 2007)

"...still tough to authoritatively rate a 'typical session'...agai n, not sure that this is a 'typical session'...more biased towards technical people, which is a nice balance against other groups I network with. This was my first 'real' session - great to see the turnout! good interaction, and broad range of participants tonight..."
